Football Pizza Party Treat

One of the best parts of Super Bowl for my kids is the pizza. So why not make fun little pizzas just for your littlest fans. These football shaped pizzas are sure to score big with your football fans big and small.

Materials You Will Need

Can of buttermilk biscuits
Pizza Sauce
Cheese and other toppings
Plastic zip seal bag

How To Make It

Step 1:
Open the can of biscuits. Stretch them out and flatten them to form football shapes. An oval is about as close as you may get, that's ok.

Step 2:
Put a teaspoon of sauce on each biscuit and spread around. Top with toppings of your choice. Add cheese last, and put a thicker layer of cheese on.

Step 3:
Bake for 5 minutes then take out. Put some pizza sauce into the zip seal bag and cut the very corner off. This will become your writer. Write onto the pizza the threads of the football. Place back into oven and cook until edges of crust are golden brown and the cheese is bubbly.

Helpful Tip For Parents

You may opt not to make them football shaped and just let your preschoolers put their own toppings on their pizza. This is a great snack for your adult guests too, so you may want to make extra. The writing of the threads is optional, it just makes them more football looking.
