Tu-tu Much Ballerina Party Favor

Every ballerina needs a tu-tu. These are simple tu-tus are make. Your little preschool ballerinas will be dancing in no time. You can personalize them in your ballerina's favorite colors, or just do the ballet pink tu-tus.

Materials You Will Need

Two One Yard pieces of 45" Tulle
One Yard of 2" ribbon in same color

How To Make It

Step 1:
Cut the tulle into 5" strips, making 9 36" strips.

Step 2:
Starting about 10 inches up the ribbon, fold the tulle in half, place over the ribbon, stick the two tulle ends through the loop end and pull tight around the ribbon. Do this with all the tulle pieces, pushing them next to each other.

Step 3:
Tie the skirt around your little ballerinas.

Helpful Tip For Parents

You could spruce these great tu-tus up by adding ribbon in between the tulle pieces, or using an assortment of colored tulle. Glue silk flowers among the strips. Add glitter glue. There are so many ways to personalize them.
