Box of Chocolates Valentine Party Cake

A time old tradition of giving a box of chocolates for Valentines has come to cake. Three simple steps and you have a beautiful Valentine cake. It's easy to make and your preschoolers will love it.

Materials You Will Need

Single Layer Cake (in any shape)
Tub of Frosting
Box of Chocolates
Lace Border Ribbon

How To Make It

Step 1:
Frost your cake with the tub of frosting. On all sides and top.

Step 2:
Place the Lace Border Ribbon around the base of cake

Step 3:
Place chocolates on the top of cake in "boxed chocolate" fashion.

Helpful Tip For Parents

You could color the tub of frosting pink or red. You could also add the ribbon around the top edge too if you like. It is nice to serve only one chocolate per child. They aren't concerned about the portion as long as they are getting a piece of the chocolate on top.
