Leaf Rubbing Invitation

These simple invitations will be a fun exploration for your preschooler. From the hunting to watching leaves magically appearing on the paper.

Materials You Will Need

Leaves from outside(you must go hunt for them)
Copy Paper
Color Crayons without paper on them

How To Make Them

Step 1:
Go outside, hunt for leaves. The leaves you find can not be to dry, or they will crumble when you press them.

Step 2:
Print out or write out invitation information onto copy paper.

Step 3:
Place the leaf under the paper, take the crayon of your choice and place it on its side. Rub the crayon back and forth over the leaf. Watch it magically appear.

Helpful Tip For Parents

Have fun with this. It doesn't just have to be leaves. Find other fall items around to rub. Your preschooler will love doing so much, they will want to make more. You could always decorate with them too.
