Little Moon Cakes

These little cupcakes will have your preschoolers reaching for the moon. Decorated with sparkling little moons. These cupcakes will have everyone jumping over the moon. Simple to make, your preschooler could help.

Materials You Will Need

Cupcakes
White Frosting
Yellow Sparkle Cake Sugars
Cup
Star shaped candies

How To Make It

Step 1:
Frost the cupcake with the white frosting.

Step 2:
Place the cup over the cupcake so that there is a cresent shape on the cupcake. Keep cup there while you sprinkle the yellow sprinkles on the outside of the cup, onto the cupcake. Making cresent moons.

Step 3:
Add a star shaped candy or two.

Helpful Tips For Parents

These look really cute with little toy cows on them also. You could tint the white frosting to a pale blue if you like also. This could also be made as a round cake, just use a plate to make the cresent shape.
