Materials You Will Need
Solid Color Cone Party Hats
Ribbon and/or Spool of Tulle
Scissors
Tape
Stickers
How To Make It
Step 1:
Cut 1" off the tip of the cone party hat with the scissors.
Step 2:
Cut 18" lengths of the ribbon and tulle, 4 lengths is all you need. Tie them into a knot at one end.
Step 3:
Feed the ribbon thru the inside of the cone party hat and out the hole at the top you cut. The knot should stop it from going all the way thru. If not, tape the end to the inside of the hat, as far in as you can reach.
Step 4:
Let your preschoolers decorate the outside of the hat with stickers.
Helpful Tip For Parents
You can get fancy with these and do glitter and glue on rhinestones, but you would have to give them time to dry before the preschoolers can wear them. This is a great activity to do as guests are arriving. Write the preschoolers' name on the front or back as a name tag.
