Three Things Every Preschool Party Needs

Buy at Art.comAfter you have chosen a theme, it is time to plan your party. Every party needs three things. Food, Fun and Favors.

Party Food

Party food can be as simple as just cake and ice cream. But, you may choose to have snacks and treats too. Don't forget the drinks. Best thing to do is to sit down and write out a menu. Write down your cake at the top, followed by the drink. Under that write three things that your preschoolers can snack on. Snacks and treats are not always needed, but can be helpful to keep little fingers busy between activities. Which leads us to Fun.

Party Fun

For fun, you will want to plan out preschool sized activities. Activities can be simple craft projects that everyone can make. This also gives them something fun to take home from the party. Games are always popular. For preschoolers, try to do games where there is no winner, or everyone gets a chance to lead. Then you do not have to worry about someone getting upset. Doing a lesson of some sort is always a good activity. Preschoolers love learning new things. There are endless possibilities, it just takes some creativity.

Party Favors

Favors are a great way to say thank you for coming to our party. Favors could be a goodie bag filled with small toys and snacks. They could be small gifts, wrap them up like presents and let your guest open them when the birthday child is opening theirs. This eliminates present envy, and keeps everyone busy while the birthday preschooler opens their gifts.

Some parties just don't have room for everything. Each party is unique. No two parties have to be the same. The goal is to plan a memorable party for your preschooler and all the little guests.
